sem duvida podem ajudar bastante!
mas tem pelo menos uma desvantagem. Usa-los torna cada browser diferente de pessoa para pessoa. Para quem faz websites, por exemplo, e quer testar em ambos (IE e FF) torna-se complicado, principalmente aqueles adds para reduzir a navegação e etc....
